What’s Up #46: Mark Robinson

If you were ever a regular reader of the Boicozine blog, you would have probably have heard the name Teenbeat mentioned before. We heart Teenbeat [teenbeat.net]. Not the dodgy teen heart throbs magazine mind (or is that Tiger Beat?) but the indie-to-the-core record label staffed by a Mr Mark Robinson and his merry crew. With a Teenbeat record you not only get ace music but you often get some pretty amazing artwork too, courtesy of ‘Mmarkk‘ himself [mmarkk.com]. With about two years worth of releases under their belt, it’s only now that Teenbeat’s graphic contribution is being recognised. Mark has recently uploaded his portfolio site and rolu | dsgn has an excellent interview with the man they call Teenbeat Graphica that’s well worth stopping by [rolu.terapad.com] which included links to his recent exhibition.
