Strange Magic

Silas [silasandmaria.com] may have made the move from international distribution to focusing on solely of their market in Japan (they have a flagship store and a few concessions there already) but that hasn’t stopped the raft of illustrators they work with from coming up with new labels to help spread the visual goodness.
Alakazam [alakazamlabel.com] has been around for a little while now. Initially launched as an exhibition at Beams T [beamst.com] in Harajuku, over a year later chief illustrators Will Sweeny [willsweeney.com] and Susumu Mukai (aka Zongamin [zongamin.net]) now have a website and a list of stockists, not to mention roping in fellow Silas contributors James Jarvis [homepage.mac.com/james.jarvis] and ‘Midnight Mike’ to provide some tshirt designs. (If you are in the UK, you’ll have to head over to The Three Threads [thethreethreads.com] to find them).
