None Sharper

To describe The Knife as an oddity is kind of labouring the point. Delve a little deeper and you’ll tap into a rich seam of uniquely imaginative music videos and graphics by collaborators such as Andreas Nilsson. Their recently released DVD, ‘Silent Shout – An Audio Visual Experience’, makes for a compelling showcase of said work. Even a rummage through their press photos yield some pretty idiosyncratic ways of presenting yourself to the music buying public. It’s a shame more artists aren’t as imaginative (and intensely enigmatic) about their image as this band.
